Remove the door cover panel to replace the window regulator motor on a New Beetle? Unscrew the screws of the internal door handle after removing the cover. Detach the door panel and disconnect the window regulator connectors. Now that you have removed the cover panel, peel off the cover from the door, unscrew the window regulator motor and the sliding rail. Replace the damaged part with a new one. Reassemble the cover panel and test the operation of the window regulator. Replace the damaged motor with one of the same size.
