How to Replace the Brake Pads on a Volkswagen Transporter

Learn how to remove and change the front brake pads along with the disc on a Volkswagen Transporter: lift the vehicle with a column lift to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a telescopic wrench or air drill) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to remove the (to be replaced) pads from the wheel hub caliper, then take off the brake caliper and subsequently the disc. Fit the new disc and the new pads onto the caliper, then reattach the brake caliper with the support onto the disc. Tighten all bolts and refit the wheel.
