How do you replace a headlight bulb on a Volkswagen Golf 4?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

We should not be discouraged if we notice one of the rear taillight bulbs of our Volkswagen Golf 4 burnt out. The work to be done to replace it is quite simple, it takes little time and technically there is nothing complex, in fact the attached video tutorial confirms it. We open the rear hatch, then locate the carpeted panel on the side, open it and now having access to the bulb holders of the taillight, we release the plastic tabs and pull them back. Once this is done, all we have to do is remove the burnt bulb, replace it and reassemble everything.
