In this new guide aimed at all of you who own a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8, we will explain how you can manually reset the engine oil light if it continues to appear on the dashboard even after changing the oil and filter. First of all, start the car and press the menu button located on the right side of the steering wheel. Then, locate and select the "Travel time/Distance" option. Next, move the cursor to "Long-term" and hold down the menu button for about ten seconds. Finally, select "Reset oil change service" and confirm the reset of the light.
