How to replace the trunk lock in the Volkswagen Golf?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the trunk lock in the Volkswagen Golf, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the rear hatch, then we open the small central storage compartment, unscrew all the various fixing screws using a Torx T20 key and separate the inner panel from the hatch being careful not to damage the clips. We then unscrew the two bolts indicated with an 8mm hex key, remove the old lock and position the replacement. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
