Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4
- Years 1997-2003 Let's see in this video how to adjust the handbrake of a Volkswagen Golf 4. With a screwdriver we remove the covering placed in the rear part of the armrest; remove the power supply clamp, then unscrew the plastic armrest with a socket wrench. Once the piece has been removed, we are going to unscrew (with a socket wrench or screwdriver with insert) the tightening nuts of the central tunnel under the handbrake lever. As soon as the handbrake lever is free, we adjust the lever by unscrewing or screwing the pins. Finally, let's reassemble the upholstery and all the attached pieces, proceeding backwards.
