How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Transporter?

T5, MK 5

It will be possible to reset the Service light on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Transporter by inserting the key into the ignition and turning it until the instrument panel lights up, without starting the engine. At this point, you will need to press the button on the left side of the instrument panel until the Service light starts flashing in the menu. When it starts flashing, you should turn off the instrument panel by removing the key; then, you should hold down the button on the right side for a few seconds, insert the key and turn it back on the instrument panel. When you release the button, the Service light will have disappeared.
