How do you replace the struts that open and close the trunk in the Volkswagen Polo?

Below you will find information on how to replace the brackets that open and close the trunk of your Volkswagen Polo. First, as seen in the video, we remove the old and worn brackets one by one. Removing them is very simple, just use a flathead screwdriver to pry on the fastening clip and with a small pull remove the bracket from the pin to which it is attached. This procedure must be done both above and below and repeated for both brackets. Once the worn bracket is removed, we proceed to install the new one, always fitting it as shown in the video. Again, using the screwdriver, we secure the bracket to its pins. Repeat the procedure on the other side and the job is done.
