How to recharge the air conditioning in the Volkswagen Golf

To recharge the air conditioning in your Volkswagen Golf, follow these steps. First, let's prepare our canister with the refrigerant inside; in this case, as we see in the video, it is R134a, which can be used in models from 1994 to 2016. The first thing we need to do is completely unscrew the part that will pierce the opening of the canister. Next, after opening the hood, we locate the low-pressure line of the car, which is positioned on the left side of the engine group under the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Once that's done, we connect the canister's hose to the car's low-pressure line. Then, we start the vehicle and proceed with the recharge. We connect the canister to the other end of its hose, pierce it completely with the appropriate tip, and gradually unscrew the tip so that the refrigerant liquid flows out. Once the correct pressure is reached, the operation is complete.
