Pre-drilling is done with the indicated bits, and the lock is secured using the screws from the kit, keeping the nuts slightly tightened to allow for alignment. With the door closed, the strike plate is adjusted until the cylinder clicks correctly and the slider engages with the anchoring point; then, the fastenings are progressively tightened, ensuring orthogonality and the absence of interference with seals and plastics. Finally, the finishing elements (caps/screw covers) are applied, the operation is tested for opening/closing from both the outside and inside, and it is checked that the key action is smooth. If the kit includes a unified key, the keyring is labeled as shown; alternatively, the pair of keys provided with the lock is kept.
