How do you activate the electronic handbrake on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

To activate the electronic handbrake of the Volkswagen Tiguan, you first need to keep the car's brake pedal pressed; otherwise, it won't be possible to engage the handbrake. To do this, pull up the button located on the center console of the vehicle, noting that its light will be activated. This indicates that the handbrake has been engaged, and to disengage it, you will need to follow the same procedure while continuing to press the brake pedal. You will also notice that after disengaging the handbrake, the light on its button will turn off.
