In this video, see how to remove the handbrake switch from a Volkswagen Tiguan. The same procedure applies to the Volkswagen Sharan and the Seat Alhambra.

The handbrake button assembly is located in a specific compartment, where you have both the handbrake button and the auto hold button. Remove the entire assembly using a small blade (as shown here), but a plastic spatula is recommended to avoid damaging the plastics.

After removing the assembly, disconnect the electrical connector located at the front. Using the usual method, you can remove the assembly from its housing; it will just require a bit more patience.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
