How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Scirocco?

Model: Volkswagen Scirocco MK 3 - Years 2008-2017
Part: Service warning light

To clear the Service light displayed on the Volkswagen Scirocco, press and hold the button located at the bottom right of the instrument cluster while the ignition is off. Continue holding the button and insert the ignition key into the corresponding lock, turning it to switch on the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is powered on, release the button on the right side and press the button on the left side once: this will clear the Service light, and you can then turn off the instrument cluster.
