How to Reset the Service Light on Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Service warning light

You can completely clear the Service light from the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Passat by holding down the button marked "0.0" located in the centre of the instrument panel. While holding it down, turn the key to switch on the instrument panel: a message will appear on the menu asking if you want to confirm the reset of the Service. To confirm, press the button again located in the centre of the instrument panel. Once the reset is complete, you can verify that the process was successful by turning the display off and on again.
