You can disable the passenger airbag on a Volkswagen Transporter by opening the front passenger door to access the corresponding side of the dashboard: here, you will need to locate a lock where you will insert the ignition key. This lock should be turned to move the indicator from ON to OFF: in this way, a message will appear indicating that the airbag has been deactivated.

You can reactivate it by turning the lock back to ON.
