How to Deactivate the Passenger Airbag on a Volkswagen Transporter

In this video, you will learn how to deactivate the passenger airbag on a Volkswagen Transporter. This operation takes no more than 15 minutes at most. To begin, unscrew the entire glove compartment assembly located on the passenger side. To do this, ensure you remove all six screws located around the perimeter of the compartment. Once the compartment is removed, disconnect the connector you see inside that links the sensor to the airbag. After that, turn on the instrument panel and ensure that the airbag light is illuminated. This light will confirm that the airbag is deactivated.
