How to Reset the Service Light on Volkswagen Routan?

Model: Volkswagen Routan MK 1 - Years 2009-2014

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Routan by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning it to the on position: once the panel is activated, press the accelerator pedal three times in a row until it reaches the floor. After completing this step, turn the key back to finish the operation. Upon the next ignition, you can verify that the Service light has been cleared from the display.
