How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Routan?

Model: Volkswagen Routan MK 1 - Years 2009-2014

From the dashboard of the Volkswagen Routan, you can clear the Service light by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning it to the on position: once the dashboard is activated, press the accelerator pedal all the way down three times in a row. After performing this action, turn the key back to the off position to complete the operation. When you turn it on again, you can verify that the Service light has been successfully cleared from the dashboard display.
