How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Volkswagen Routan?

You can completely erase the Service light that lights up on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Routan by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning it to turn on the panel: once the panel is activated, you can press the accelerator pedal three times in a row all the way down. Once this operation has been carried out, you can then turn the key in the opposite direction to complete the operation. When the new ignition is on, you can verify that the Service light has been correctly erased from the panel, which can then be turned off.
