To reset the maintenance light on a Volkswagen UP, follow a few simple steps that anyone can manage. First, sit in the driver's seat and ensure that the doors, boot, and bonnet are closed. Next, with the instrument cluster off, press and hold the "0.0/set" button located under the fuel gauge. While continuing to hold the "0.0/set" button, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster. Now, with the instrument cluster on, release the "0.0/set" button and press it again within 20 seconds to reset the maintenance light.
