Replacing the Remote Battery on a Volkswagen Up

This video shows that if the remote control for opening and closing the doors of the Volkswagen Up no longer functions, and the LED on the casing does not light up when the buttons are pressed, you need to replace the battery. Press the button that releases the metal key, then pry open the casing covering the battery. Use a small screwdriver to lever one side of the battery out and replace it with a new CR2032, ensuring the positive side is facing you. Reposition the casing and press to secure it.
