In a few simple steps, remove and replace the battery in the Volkswagen Up by following the instructions below. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative); then, unscrew the battery bracket screw located at the bottom, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the battery from its compartment and replace it with a new one of the correct type and the same amperage; connect the battery electrically and finally start the engine!
