How to replace the battery of the Volkswagen UP

We open the front hood of the Volkswagen up car to replace its battery. Using a socket wrench and a 13mm extension, we unscrew the battery support plate and remove it. Never disconnect the positive pole because the car is still connected; it is important to first disconnect the negative pole using a 10mm wrench. We disconnect the positive pole using the 10mm wrench and remove the battery from its housing. We clean the positive and negative connectors with sandpaper to remove rust. We insert the battery into its housing and connect the positive pole and then the negative pole. We screw the nut on the bracket and mount the plastic cover.
