Operation: How to replace the battery of the Volkswagen Up?

Removing the Volkswagen Up battery is a very simple operation, we can follow this video guide that shows us how to do it, and also how to test it in order to determine if it needs to be replaced or not. First disconnect the ECU connector and remove the plastic cover. We can choose whether to keep the control unit powered or not, it depends on how long we have to leave the battery disconnected, however it should not be necessary in case of a simple and quick replacement. We remove the 13mm bolt from the bottom bracket and the bracket itself, and at this point the battery is ready to be replaced. Assembly consists of the same procedure, but in reverse.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
