The infotainment system on the Volkswagen Up may seem a bit basic, but in reality, it is complete and has many features. On the radio, there are the 4 classic buttons, the dial to access the menu, and the volume control. The information on the radio is also displayed on the 5" resistive touch screen (so you will need to press with a bit more force to be understood). If we go into the multimedia menu, we find the CD player, Bluetooth for streaming phone calls and music from the device to the screen, a micro SD card slot that can be directly inserted into the 5" screen, and an AUX-IN port located on the radio dashboard. If we go into the "vehicle" menu, we find the onboard computer that provides us with useful information about the car and the route. It also gives us the "think blue" feature, which tells us if we are driving economically and environmentally friendly. We also have the option to have a digital thermometer for the coolant and external temperature. Then there are all the features of the phone and the navigator. When the car enters reserve mode, the navigator automatically sets itself to go to the nearest gas station. The navigator also informs us about traffic conditions.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
