How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Up?

To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Up, you will need to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to start the instrument panel: once the panel is turned on, you will be able to locate the button with the car icon in the lane and the word "OFF" in the center of the dashboard. By pressing the button, you will notice that Lane Assist is deactivated as indicated by the corresponding light on the instrument panel: to reactivate it, simply press the button again.
