How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Light on a Volkswagen Tiguan

This procedure described for the Volkswagen Tiguan is actually valid for all Volkswagen models with a multifunction steering wheel. First, it is essential to adjust the pressure of all four tyres to the manufacturer's recommended pressure. Turn on the instrument cluster and using the arrow buttons on the steering wheel, scroll through the menu until you reach the "settings" option. Select "tyre pressure". Scroll through the options with the up/down buttons until you reach "tyre pressure" and confirm with the "ok" button. In the submenu, you will be given the option to "save" or "set". Confirm again with "ok" and at this point, the message "tyre pressure saved" should appear. Exit the menu: the yellow light will be off. Now drive for a few miles to allow the system to learn the new pressures while driving.
