How to Reset the Service Interval of the Volkswagen Golf 6

The video describes two main methods to reset the service interval: let's see the first. With the multifunction steering wheel: turn on the ignition and use the buttons on the right of the steering wheel, press the "menu" button until you see the settings. Scroll until you find "service interval" and press "ok". The display will ask you, "Do you really want to reset the service?" Select "yes" and confirm. Now the display will show the new service interval. The second method, without the multifunction steering wheel: use a button combination. Turn off the ignition and hold down the trip meter button; keep it pressed while turning the key to the "on" position. A message like "service now" or "oil change" will appear on the display; release the "trip" button and turn the clock/settings button, or press the "0.0" button within a few seconds to confirm the reset. Turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to check that the warning light has disappeared.
