In this tutorial, you can see how to replace the auxiliary belt on the Volkswagen Golf GTI, a very simple operation. First, lift the front right side of the vehicle, then remove both the wheel and the inner wheel arch cover. Next, disconnect the intercooler hose, separate it from the support, grasp the tensioner with a 17mm spanner, and once secured by inserting a hex key into the indicated hole, remove the old belt. Now position the replacement while following the diagram and reassemble everything in reverse order.
