In this brief guide, you will learn how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Golf, eighth generation model produced from 2019 onwards. Start the operation by turning on the vehicle's ignition without starting the engine. Then, press the right arrow button on the steering wheel to open the on-screen menu and select the "trip time/distance" option. Next, press and hold the right button for a few seconds until the service menu appears as shown in the video. Once there, click on the "reset oil change service" and "reset inspection" options and confirm the resets to complete the task.
