How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf Plus

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Golf Plus (which corresponds to a Golf VI). Turn on the ignition, having closed all the doors, and press the "0.0" or "SET" button located on the right side of the dashboard (near the speedometer display) and hold it down. At the same time, turn the key to the "ON" position (ignition on) while keeping the button pressed. Continue to hold it for about 5-10 seconds until the display shows "Service" and starts to flash or the reset message appears. At that point, release the button; turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the light is off. If the display asks for confirmation, briefly press the button to select "Reset" or "OK."
