How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Taos?

To clear the Service light on a Volkswagen Taos, turn on the ignition to access the menu that will appear on the instrument cluster: once the menu is displayed, scroll using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel until you reach "Distance." When highlighted, press and hold the right arrow button until another menu appears: at this point, you can select "Reset oil change" and confirm by pressing the OK button. This will clear the light, and you can turn off the ignition.
