How to Replace the Headlight Bulb on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To replace the headlight bulb on a Volkswagen Golf, first open the bonnet and locate the back of the headlight you wish to replace. Remove the protective plastic cover behind the headlight. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb, taking care not to damage it. Unscrew or unclip the faulty bulb from its housing. Insert the new bulb of the same type, ensuring it is securely fitted. Reconnect the electrical connector and remount the protective cover. Close the bonnet and turn on the headlights to check for proper operation.
