The instructions in this guide will allow you to reset the service light for the regular maintenance oil change on a Volkswagen Passat. First, get inside the vehicle and press and hold the reset button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel; then, turn the key to position one, waiting about five seconds before releasing the button and pressing the left button once, as shown in the video. At this point, you will see the message and maintenance key reset.
