Resetting the Service Indicator on a Volkswagen Passat

These brief and simple steps will show you how to reset the service indicator on a Volkswagen Passat. First, get into the vehicle and press and hold the reset button located at the bottom right of the instrument cluster; then turn the key to position one to power on the cluster, wait a few seconds, release the button, and rotate the left button to the right, as shown in the video. At this point, turn off the instrument cluster and then start the engine, verifying the service light has been successfully reset.
