See how to reset the oil service maintenance indicator on a Volkswagen Passat. This is a very simple operation; enter the vehicle, turn on the ignition with the appropriate key, and press the button located near the car's speedometer for a few seconds, then turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on and confirm the reset with the left button (the reset confirmation message will appear). Check the display for the mileage until the next oil change service. Always remember to make changes to the onboard computer with the engine off.
