How to Change the Key Remote Battery in a Volkswagen Arteon

Detailed instructions - To change the battery of the remote control for a Volkswagen Arteon, first extract the mechanical key by pressing the side button on the remote. Locate the slot on the side of the key and, with a small flathead screwdriver or simply with your fingers, gently pry to separate the two halves of the casing. Once the remote is open, remove the depleted button battery and insert a new one of the same type, respecting the indicated polarity. Close the remote by pressing the two parts together until they click and reinsert the mechanical key. Check that the buttons function correctly.
