How to replace the rear light bulb on a Volkswagen Passat? This is a very simple operation; let's see how to proceed in this video. Open the boot lid, then remove the cloth on the side trim of the boot. Unscrew the securing nuts of the rear light, disconnect the power connectors attached to the light, and pull it away from its housing. Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same voltage) at hand. Refit the light with the respective securing nuts; reattach the inspection cover and test the correct functioning of the lights.
