Replacing the Window Switch Panel on VW Passat

How to remove the door panel to replace the window switch panel on a Volkswagen Passat? This video explains the procedure. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine bay. Use a trim removal tool to pry at the bottom of the switch panel frame, exactly between the frame and the door panel. Use the plastic trim tool to pry around the entire perimeter of the door. Remove the window switch panel from the door panel and disconnect the power connectors. Fit the new piece into the panel.
