How to Remove the Seat on VW Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Replacing the front seat of the Volkswagen Passat if damaged. Remove the seat from above the rail. Move the seat back using the handle underneath, lift the seat base, and remove the protective plastics from the rails (unscrew the securing screws). Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws on the front rail. Move the seat forward using the adjustment handle and remove the securing pins from the back of the rail. Disconnect the power connectors for the front seat. Extract the damaged seat from inside the vehicle. Fit a new seat inside the car.
