How to remove the front seat from a Volkswagen Passat? This video explains how to proceed. First, move the seat forward (using the electric buttons if available) and raise the seat base.

Then, use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts located on the rear rail. Move the seat back using the adjustment buttons and remove the securing bolts from the front of the rail.

Finally, disconnect the power connectors for the front seat. Refit the front seat by following the disassembly steps mentioned earlier.
