To remove the front seat of a Volkswagen Passat, first detach the plastic cover that conceals the seat sliding rails. Once the cover is removed, push the seat fully forward to access the screws at the back. Next, push the seat backwards and unscrew the screws at the front; when the screws are loosened, you can disconnect the yellow connector at the bottom of the seat, allowing it to be completely removed and replaced with a new one.
