How to Remove the Front Seat of a Volkswagen Passat?

To remove the front seat of the Volkswagen Passat from its housing, push the seat all the way forward to access the 10 mm Torx screws located at the rear of the sliding rails. After removing these screws, push the seat back and unscrew the ones at the front of the rails. Next, disconnect the connectors at the bottom of the seat so that it can be completely removed from the cabin and replaced with a new one.
