In this guide, learn how to open the bonnet of a sixth-generation Volkswagen Golf. It may seem trivial at times, but not for everyone: let’s see how it’s done! First, get into the vehicle and look for a lever at the bottom left on the driver’s side; pull this to unlock the bonnet.

Get out of the car and open the bonnet: then disengage the internal tab by pressing it (located at the emblem height); at this point, you will be finished and simply need to attach the prop rod to hold the bonnet up!
