Front Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

For this operation, no tools are required as it is a simple task. Open the bonnet and locate the rear of the headlamp with the burnt bulb. Gently remove the rubber protective cover, taking care with the wires, then remove the retaining springs to access the bulb. By unhooking the retaining springs, remove the faulty bulb from its socket. Carefully insert the new bulb, ensuring you align it with the reference notches and avoid touching the glass bulb with your hands; if you do, clean the glass with a cloth dampened with alcohol. Reattach the springs and securely close the protective cover.
