Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Door trim panel

Remove the plastic cover of the handle and unscrew the two retaining screws using a Torx key. Use a spatula to remove the plastic clips of the panel and gently pull the panel upwards along the edges. Remove the speaker, handle cables, and electrical contacts by disconnecting the connectors, taking care not to damage them. Refit the new panel, starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reconnect the cables, connectors, and screws.
