Car Radio Removal Instructions

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

To remove the car radio, you need the specific extraction keys provided with the radio itself. Insert these into the small slots located at the four corners of the radio, with the bevel facing inward. Once the keys are inserted, push them all the way in to release the radio's mounting springs: at this point, pull the radio out of its housing and disconnect the plugs connected to it. Protect the gear lever and central tunnel with a cloth to avoid scratching.
