Replacing Front Headlight Bulbs on a Volkswagen Golf 5

To replace a front headlight bulb on a Volkswagen Golf 5, position the car on a flat surface or a ramp to ensure safety and stability for the operator. Turn off the engine and the instrument panel, then open the bonnet. Now, you can access the headlight that requires replacement. If you want to replace the main beam bulb, remove the protective cover from water and moisture, and pull the bulb from its socket. Replace and refit. For the dipped beam and rear light bulbs, remove the protective cap, disconnect the power by pulling out the connector, move the locking spring (push and simultaneously move it to the left), and replace the bulb. Then reposition the spring to secure the new bulb. The position light bulb is located in the same space, at the top right. Remove it, along with the connector, from its housing and pull the bulb from its socket. Insert the new one and reassemble everything. Finally, replace the indicator bulb located beneath the dipped beam area. Rotate the bulb holder a quarter turn (like for the main beams) and pull it from its housing. Remove the bulb from its socket and replace it with the new one. Reassemble everything, and you're done!
