How to Remove the Rear Bumper of a Volkswagen Golf

Before you start, open the boot of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by removing the rear lights, unscrewing the fixing bolts and disconnecting the electrical connectors. Next, unscrew and remove the screws and bolts securing the rear bumper, located around its perimeter, then unclip the clips. This will free the rear bumper. At this point, you can unclip and pull away the rear bumper, then disconnect the internal connector of the number plate light, and the removal will be complete.
