How to Remove the Seats from a Golf 5

Let's see how to remove the rear seats from a Golf 5. Open the rear doors to access the seats. Remove the seat base (lift the seat with your hands) until it completely detaches from the metal floor. Remove the metal guides at both ends of the backrest (mounted on the car's metal floor), using plastic or metal levers for assistance. Detach one part of the seat from the car's metal floor (perform the same operation on the other half of the backrest). Remove the central guide if the seat is split (unscrew the screws). After removing the seat backs, simply install the new rear seats by reversing the disassembly process.
